The steak set meal here is just 2000 yen, which makes me think they might be selling it at a loss, as the quality of the meat is truly exceptional. The steak was on par with what you would expect at a high-end teppanyaki restaurant costing around 15,000 yen. The beef bowl served at a neighboring table was unbelievably generous, with a large bowl filled with beef that seemed more like a serving dish than an actual bowl, all for just 500 yen. The beef curry also had a similar ratio of meat to sauce, and while there were no specific labels like "A5" on the meat, the taste was definitely of the highest quality.
This restaurant is operated by Nanchiku. We were able to enter without waiting on a weekday afternoon after 1pm, but there were always many customers. The system is to purchase tickets at a vending machine. We ordered the 1000 yen yakiniku set, which is limited to weekdays. There were also options like one-coin menu. I was worried about how much meat would come for 1000 yen, but a generous assortment of about 200 grams of beef, beef hormone, pork cheek meat, and plenty of vegetables came out. This photo is for two people, with this volume. No complaints for 1000 yen! In addition to the quantity, the meat quality was quite good, with beef having both lean and tough cuts, as well as tender parts. The hormone and pork were very delicious. You can enjoy it with sauce, salt, or wasabi. Rice refill is also available, which I think men would appreciate. Since there is a lot of meat, one bowl of rice is not enough for balance. On the way back, we bought meat at the attached direct sales store. Not only the meat, but also the processed products are very cheap!!
I had beef curry.
