Feedback gevenLocated along Route 50 in Sakuragawa City, this restaurant is very stylish. This time, I tried the combo of curry and hayashi hamburger with Japanese-style sauce. As rumored, both the curry and hayashi were delicious! However, the classic, hearty hamburger at this Western-style restaurant was truly exquisite. It was so delicious that, as a big eater, I found the portion to be too stylish and wanted to order two more servings.
Ranked 4th nationwide, the most delicious Hayashi Rice in Ibaraki Prefecture! It is said to be a restaurant run by a grand disciple of Paul Bocuse, known as the father of modern French cuisine. The Hayashi Rice has a Western-style richness and of course, it is delicious, but I was also impressed by the spiciness of the chicken curry that I had never noticed before. Although there is nothing around the restaurant, once you step inside, it is incredibly bustling and feels like you have entered a different space. The chef often engages in conversation and provides excellent customer service, making people feel comfortable. The taste, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service…everything is perfect.
I ordered the lunch menu item, "Grilled pork belly with tomato and cheese" at this restaurant. It was served in a gratin dish, and they warned me that the dish was hot. The surface of the plate was covered with tomatoes and cheese, and underneath there was plenty of pork belly. The pork meat used was very tender and the fat was meltingly delicious. Although pork belly is a fatty cut, it wasn't overly rich, and the acidity from the tomatoes made it refreshing to eat. It was absolutely delicious! The taste and portion size were both very satisfying. For dessert, I added the "Kuzu Ice Cream" by the famous traditional Japanese sweet shop "Komean". The ice cream was served semi-frozen, with a crunchy and chewy texture. It was incredibly fruity and delicious! Overall, the popular restaurant's lunch menu was truly satisfying in taste.

ハヤシとチキンカレーの合盛りと豚ロースカツレツをランチでいただきました。 玉ねぎをしっかりと時間をかけて丁寧に炒められたであろうコクのあるブラウンソースのハヤシ、辛さのなかに複雑な味わいが感じられるチキンカレー、どちらも秀逸でした。 豚ロースカツレツも質の高い豚肉を薄めの衣でサックリ揚げてあり、ワサビが主張し過ぎないおろしワサビソースであっさり、しかっり美味しくいただけました。
