The noodles are now homemade to match the size of the bowl, and it seems that the owner's son is now making them. The owner, who loves to chat, told me that they occasionally sell out because they source the yakisoba noodles from a third party.
I hiked up Mount Ishizuna and had lunch here for the first time in a while. The kind grandmother, who I assume is the owner, was very friendly and I liked her smile. The soy sauce ramen was simple but surprisingly good. I prefer this light ramen over the greasy and heavy ramen from a nearby chicken shop. The Menma may be a bit salty, but overall it was delicious. The portion size, as many have mentioned, was quite generous for the price of 550 yen. The fried dumplings (400 yen) were also tasty, and I found out they were not homemade but bought from a wholesaler. I wonder which wholesaler they use because they were really good. I also got a fried noodles to go. Since the owner runs the place alone, it may not be suitable for those in a rush or who are picky. I enjoyed relaxing and waiting for my food, it was a lovely and peaceful afternoon in autumn. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
