ヒルトコカフェ - 宇陀市

Located near the famous cherry blossom spot of Matsunobuei, this café is a popular destination during cherry blossom season. Even on a weekday, it was almost fully booked when I visited. The view from the window includes a picturesque rural landscape in the distance and a meticulously maintained garden with beautiful flowers and plants nearby. The lunch menu consists of a daily special or hamburger, with the sides remaining the same. The salad that came first was delicious, with fresh vegetables. The lunch is served like a course meal, with multiple dishes on the plate. Although the portion of the hamburger was modest, when combined with the other vegetable sides, it was an ample amount. I would definitely visit again when I am in the area.

On our way back from viewing the cherry blossoms at Matubee Sakura, we stopped by around 4pm. We had pancakes, iced coffee, and warm souffle cheese. The pancakes are highly recommended. While the sign near the stairs entering the restaurant said "Open," the sign near the door in the bottom left corner indicated closing at 3pm. When we asked the staff, they assured us that the cafe was still open. There was a couple who saw the closing sign at 3pm and left, so it's a good idea to check with the staff before assuming they are closed.

After finishing lunch, I went to the café. There was a staircase before entering the shop, which already got me excited. I had a café au lait and cake. The breeze coming in from the window was pleasant, and I had a blissful moment. I bought a brownie as a souvenir before leaving.
