あやの Shí Táng - 西之表市

It was a quaint and nostalgic dining hall, Ayano Shokudo, located in Higashimachi 34 in Nishinoomote City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The champon is 600 yen and inside the restaurant, the atmosphere evokes a Showa era vibe with a wide selection of menu items. Many customers were ordering the champon, which had a soup with a nostalgic and gentle flavor, and a rich taste overall. It was incredibly delicious and highly recommended for those visiting Tokunoshima.

I had the champon and it was delicious! The mama-san at Ayano Shokudo was kind and lovely, and I was thoroughly satisfied.

This old-fashioned countryside diner exceeded my expectations in a good way. I had the Chanpon noodles, and it brought back nostalgic flavors.
