The South Indian - Aalborg

About Christmas we are a few days in the North Jutland and visited this time again aalborg. Yesterday we were here in the south Indian and it was very delicious again. the service is very friendly. it is sold much outside the house, also the native was visited very well shortly after the opening with two families and another couple. in the small kitchen prevailed high and the only service was very flashy and very busy and always friendly. the native itself is quite simply furnished and in souterrain are other tables, but there it does not seem so cozy. so that the seating area offers extended and everyone can decide whether it fits. we both sat on a nice table. we drank a mango hedge and mineral water. we had a meat dish and three vegan or vegetarian dishes. all were very satisfied! our choice: nr. 30 spicy chilihu nr. 27 veg kothu parotta nr. 21 vendakka masala only at the vendakka I would have liked a somewhat larger part. that is a boulder, for me a nice change to the rice dishes. We'll be safe next year. a clear recommendation, also due to the great vegan selection!

This restaurant offers 5-7 vegan main courses and a couple of starters as well. I live very close by and have tried all of them. They offer takeout as well..

If you want many options this is the place. Other than that it's great. You get to choose how spicy you want it and there are many different things in the menu. Its just a shame it's too expensive for those small portions. Some of the waitresses also needs to pick up the pace, same with the kitchen. Also when the tables are filled with plates and food you should clean them off. Not wipe off glasses. (Just seen one waitress like this though).

Offers quite a few vegan dishes and also vegan starch options besides rice (e.g. chapati, idly and dosa). Dosa was excellent and not oily. I highly recommend this place especially for those eating with non-vegans.

Hands down, best place to go for dinner in Aalborg! Amazing food, clearly marked vegan options on menu, wonderful warm staff and good location.
