Had a private family come together. Great atmosphere, great food and great service.

In the middle of the square, is one of Abbeville, Louisiana precious stone restaurants, and the location is very convenient to the historic city center. I think it's just the right mix of modern aesthetics, local drinks, seafood, Italian cuisine and Spicy, Southern, Cajun Pride. In my humble opinion, I would strongly recommend the 1) Fried Green Tomatoes, which is uniquely outstanding to any other 2) the Veal Parmesan, and 3) they have a really nice local porter on tap. If Porter is not your style, there are many other varieties of other local and local adult drinks. I want to see a Pasta Aglio e Olio on the menu, but that seems more difficult and difficult to find anywhere in the country today... and so much I like all the fantastic dishes that always come out; Sometimes I just want to eat a simple dish of pasta with oil and garlic, and maybe some bread.

Had a wonderful family reunion at Midway on the Square in Abbeville today. Such a great place to hold this kind of function and the food and service was phenomenal. I loved the calamari and my eggplant parmigiana. Thanks so much to the owners and staff for a great time and great food.
