I have called multiple times and was put on hold for long periods. I am extremely disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant in the city, but after tonight, I will never support their business again in the future.
The dishes at this restaurant were freshly made to order and hot. They were absolutely delicious. I now have to write a hundred characters to finish this review. Consider lowering the minimum character requirement to encourage more reviews.
We had lunch at this restaurant and ordered a lunch special for $5.99 and an orange bun for $10.99. Our food arrived shortly after we ordered, however, we had to ask for a clean fork as the one we received was dirty. The chow mein that came with my meal of baked chicken was bland and unappetizing. The chicken strips were thin and dried, covered in thick, tasteless breading. The orange chicken that my companion ordered was also disappointing, tasting like leftover scraps thrown into the pot to make the dish. Overall, our dining experience was lackluster and unenjoyable.
We ordered the box for the door bag and let them be delivered, the food came hot and delicious. great price too. prawns, huh and chow mine.
Attended May 10th for lunch as taking a family member out and in the mall area. We sat down and only two working men at another table. We sat down by the front window and there was a garbage can with a smoking dish on...top. This was a popular place and always some one out side using it, our view! A cook from the back came and got our orders, very little said and he left. Our pop drinks came in good time. I order a bowl of wonton soup and other dish items. The portions were okay but the noodles had so much fatty grease, or oil on them that one could see it. My soup had to large meat pieces and I could not eat the meat as very fatty and grisly. Terrible meat, where and why would you give us this kind of meat? The soup also had oil spots and lots of soup broth but not wonton's. I have never tasted Wonton soup as this one, and always order it! Now we eat out a lot during the week and always on weekends. We have been to every Chinese restaurant in this city but not this one. So we could compare food tastes I would think, also other cities. The cook did not come back to ask if we liked the food and we took some home with us. He gave us a plate but no spoon ect to take the food off the plate to take home. How were we supposed to lift the food and place it in the container?? We could not get the uneaten food in the container so left it. I went to the washroom to wash my hands and the door was loose and did not close easy or lock. Dirty stuff in the toilet, not clean any where especially the toilet and was not flushed. Smelled inside just wished to get out of this room. Sink also dirty. Not a decorated up Chinese restaurant like so many with lanterns, pictures, lights ect. I had to go to his order counter as I could not find him but sitting down behind counter. Noticed on bill the percentages for tips,(10% plus) was asked if I wished a receipt. One other person came in to take out food. This restaurant in the back part of the mall lot and can not be seen from the main street. Got to know it is there. Chairs are hard like old kitchen ones, square tables and well used. No other families inside. The atmosphere I feel lacked and no music, quiet. The bill came up to almost 40. for two people and not that good choice of food combo's. Happytravels.
