Bistro Verde - Aberdeen

Terrible experience, not recommend to come again. Their tiger prawn as tiny as a normal shrimp which is unacceptable, the steak is a bit burn but the taste is fine with the pepper corn sauce.

We dined here last night for our anniversary and was very disappointed, especially with the attitude of the manager. My husband had Cullen Skink it was very nice, my daughter had the Panto oysters and she enjoyed them. I opted for the coconut prawns and they were tasteless basically a small prawn coated in coconut and deep fried! The mains were terrible we all wanted seabass but at 7.30pm there was only one portion left so my husband had that. The fish was nice and well cooked but It came with quinoa which had no taste, no seasoning in it, and overcooked broccoli. My daughter and I had the surf and turf, the chips were soggy, the peppercorn sauce greasy and my steak was well undercooked. I asked for medium but by the time I reached the middle and saw the blood and didn’t want to eat the rest. Not once did anyone ask if our food was ok, so when the manager cleared the plates I said that the food had been disappointing and my steak was not cooked as I ordered. His reply was well if you told us we could have thrown it back on the grill!!!! He did take one steak off the bill but we would much rather have enjoyed our meals, the food and his attitude totally ruined our anniversary. Needless to say we will not return.

One of the Best dinner dates I've ever had. Excellent service and amazing food. We will 100% be back. Make sure to book a table as it can be busy! 3 course meal and 2-3 cocktails each for about £85 (Share the nachos ; Enjoy!!!

Popped in after seeing mussels on menu online,purely by chance. What a great move!!!I had the mussels and white wine and cream sauce...to die for!!!!. Service brilliant and atmosphere great. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fabulous seafood experience. Well done to Chef and staff...Definately coming back when in area again,job well done.

Good place, every disc we had was excellent and very tasty. Also great service, a real local seafood restaurant with fresh products.
