Philippe Segond - Aix-en-Provence

Varois, this is not the first time we bring small candy when we go to Aix-en-Provence. An address of excellence, from art to pure state: you devour them from the eyes, you admire them for their precious beauty, you delect them for their original flavors and textures... a fade of the exceptional greed to which you return for a moment assured pleasure. We took the famous chocolate cake.. and it was delicious! The coffee was good as well! And the lady was very nice Very recommend!

Very good cakes for the place too isolated. Great cakes. Pity about the location. I still would recommend it a try.

We had the most amazing macarons ever at Philippe Segond in Aix. We walked past their lovely macaron pyramid many times before finally going inside and we were so glad we did. It was like I had never eaten French macarons until I tasted theirs. The texture. The flavors. The colors. Merveilleux! We stopped in on our last day in Aix and now I feel foolish that we missed the opportunity to have more of their macarons (and other Philippe Segond delights) during our visit. The pistachio and the passion fruit macarons were our surprise favorites, but really, they were all equally divine.

I can only recommend this pastry that is simply my favorite. Between Paris and Aix-en-Provence, I found nothing like that. A cake is especially to be tested: the SUMATRA. Fans of pineapple will not be disappointed, miles and flavors and especially textures will be at the rendezvous. Small advice: if possible and if you live on Aix enjoy this cake in the “large format for several people” rather than in “individual part” I think it gives him even more power and the game of textures and more pronounced. In any case it's a real trip! The individual cake "SAVEUR" with rose is just as bright. Congratulations to the MOF and the entire team for this considerable work!
