Terrible service today. It took 45 minutes for me to get a 15 minute order. 3 fish sandwiches, with extra tartar sauce and 8 hush-puppies, sandwiches had no tartar sauce and she didn’t put any tartar sauce packets in the bag.When I walked in i told the young lady behind the counter, I was here to pick up a to go order. She was very rude and short with me when I asked if I could pay for the order now, she said no, i said ok and I sat down and didn’t say a word.40 minutes later, she finally asked me was I here to pick up order and I reiterated yes, as I stated when I walked in, she asked my name then said oh your order just came up but I could see she was not being truthful

The food was not seasoned. My meal was very cold. Everything about my lunch today was dissatisfying, on top of me requesting macaroni salad and they still gave me coleslaw. I gave two stars because they were very nice overall but I will not go here again to eat because the food was distasteful. If it wasn’t for the hot sauce giving my fish taste. Id probably would have thrown the whole plate in the trash. But I paid $14 for a dinner. I ate least ate the fish with the hot sauce. But I’ll stick with Haninis catfish from now on.

This place is fantastic!! I wish I could acknowledge the young man that was working the counter!!Klein's always provides freash fish in Akron. Mind you we are not very close to the ocean. I feel like the fish is comparable to markets on the coast.Furthermore, the store is clean, and the staff are welcoming, professional, and attentive.

Always ask for fish well done, asked owner and he said to say extra crispy, it is never done more than a minimum cooking no matter what you ask for. They put in again, and it was the same. After third time it was better.

I ordered 2 dinners, a whole white bass and perch about six pieces, two sides 2, drinks for dinner rolls totally $43, also had to buy the hot sauce and tartar sauce, the fish was fried perfectly and pretty, but totally tasteless.
