Europe Gyro - Akron

A summit and portage county staple. I worked there in college and still enjoy the food every once in awhile. Probably the best pizza and gyros in the entire state.

I forgot to take a picture of the entire pizza, but it was delicious and loaded with toppings. I ordered it around 1:30am.

I have had mixed experiences at this restaurant. In the past, there was a bartender who was always drunk and loud during trivia nights upstairs, but it appears that he is no longer working there. The current bartender for the upstairs area, Berg, does a good job and remembers my boyfriend and me, along with our usual orders. I have mostly enjoyed the pizzas on Wednesdays, although I did have one bad experience with them. However, overall, everyone else's food has consistently been good.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Josh personally came out to introduce himself to me and let me know that he was the one who prepared my food. He was friendly and pleasant, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because we devoured the food so quickly!
