Handel's Homemade Ice Cream And Yogurt

The ice cream here is freshly made and absolutely excellent. There's a vast selection of flavors to choose from, and they introduce new flavors each month that are definitely worth a try. The prices are quite reasonable. Plus, the staff is always friendly and eager to assist. The best part? They're open year-round!

We had a wonderful time at the ice cream shop with our dog, Lulu, a German Shepherd. There was a bit of a line, but we didn't mind at all since everyone was so friendly and gave plenty of attention to Lulu. She was very patient while waiting. When we reached the window, she stood up to take a peek, but never put her paws on the counter. Overall, it was a fantastic night!

The ice cream here is fantastic! The Ore-Dough flavor is my favorite, and the birthday cake flavor is incredibly sweet. The salted caramel pretzel is also tasty. The cones are large and delicious, and they offer free mini vanilla cones that are about the size of your finger—perfect for little ones! However, your toddler might prefer a larger cone! One downside is that there are no restrooms, which can be tricky when you have small kids. Definitely remember to bring some baby wipes!

The ice cream here is truly delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. The staff inside seems oblivious to the growing line of customers, moving at a glacial pace. We placed four simple orders, and while three were scooped, one employee then decided to pack a double pint of a random flavor, causing further delays. Eventually, a different staff member scooped some Grand Central Station ice cream and handled our payment, but we were left without napkins or a receipt. Given that there were 25 people waiting in line and six employees working, one would expect the service to be more efficient. There wasn't even a simple "I can help who's next?" to acknowledge the customers. From now on, we’ll be making the trip to the Stow location instead.

Even when the restaurant is busy, the staff are always friendly and greet their customers with a smile. They offer the best ice cream in the area, with an impressive variety of choices.
