Bagel Street Cafe - Alameda

Used to be good but not anymore. They've downsized the sandwiches but charge more. Service is always slow plan on waiting 10 15 min for a sandwich

Been coming here for years. Tried many bagels in the bay. This is my favorite one. Best texture by far.

Highly recommend their locks and bagel with a salted bagel. Would definitely be back, my wife had the vegetarian on a jalapeño and cheddar bagel.

The customer service was outstanding, and the bagels were absolutely delicious—fresh and incredibly soft!

This place used to be one of my favorite spots for lunch, but sadly, it's become more trouble than it's worth—I've wasted too many lunch breaks here. They consistently run out of food by around 11 AM, and they don't prepare enough rolls to meet the demands of their customers. By mid-morning, the bagels are usually gone, so by noon, which is when most people would normally have lunch, the counter is nearly bare except for the unwanted bagels. They also frequently run low on certain vegetables, and the quality of the sandwiches has declined. I recently had a club sandwich where the turkey seemed to have come straight from the freezer—it was so cold that it had ice on it. On top of that, I've encountered an increasing number of mistakes with my orders (I've asked for no mustard, but twice it was added anyway). Given all of this, it has become much easier to find another place to eat.
