After I had conducted some preliminary research on alamosa, I knew there were not many options for eating. we decided to try May-Wa in the hope at least for some sauteed veggies. a young, helpful woman came to take our order. she was unsure of vegan choices and checked with the kitchen. we were happy to hear the restaurant 's tofu was not baked. However, it has informed us that all 'brown' sauces contain a small amount of oyster sauce - except the edible sauce. she said her white sauce was very good and vegan. we chose fresh spring rolls that contained slightly fried tofu, salat and rice noodles. they were served with an erdnus sauce. Although it was nice that the tofu was not the pre-fried rubber compound, the early roll were OK-not great. (I mentioned that we are early roll snobs? after hearing about the brown sauce, the woman suggested we get a tofu herbal noodle dish with peanut sauce (it is served in the rule with fish sauce. the court was a kind of nudelsalat with slightly fried tofu, sweet and zilantro. that was a fantastic light shell. not to share the best joy, but they cannot have everything. we also got the juicy brokkoli that was perfectly prepared. it was still crispy and served with some other veggies (including zucchini.) we thought we need to eat in our hotel room because of alamosa's small restaurant scene, so it was a nice surprise to find so great service and delicious food in May-Wa.
I've eatin here since they opened you will not find better Chinese food in Colorado the best .
I am shocked by the disrespectful treatment of customers at this restaurant! The facilities and food were appalling. I would never recommend this place.
