Monte Verde - Albufeira

We had dinner three times here during our stay first night because we were tired after travelling all day and subsequently because we had had a busy day and wished to relax close to the accommodation. The food was OK but service was a little inconsistent and the menu was quite restricted and unimaginative given the lovely ingredients available in that part of the world.

Hi guys, I had high expectations. Well, the cataplana was good. The fish soup was, yes, what was it?? Water with some fish flavour. The tamboril was a real dispointment. Tamboril means monk fish. So I expected some fish. To detect a piece of fish was really difficult. I needed a magnifing glass. Regards Schliek.

We are staying at cerro mar so thought wed try restaurant. I had sea bass and it was lovely, came with potatos, green beans and asparagus. The restaurant is very clean and staff excellent. They do offer a buffet style dinner that also looked very nice
