Today we were very excited to have lunch! selected some baked to take home, then welcomed by dominika to place our orders. our first time I told her. I asked what was in the grecian salad, first on the black board menu no descriptions. She rolled her eyes, gave a little huff, but told me what was in the salat. my sister said. I'm sorry to disturb her in reaction to the reaction of Dominicans to my question. I ordered the grecian with huh. it only took a few moments not minutes. I was pleasant and thanked her several times. she finally smiled. my sister asked about the salmonsalat, she was told the ingredients and ordered that...again... moments not minutes! my sister also thanked her several times. I paid 47.50, we chose a table and waited for our order 22. I walked and used the lady room and washed my hands cute ladies' room. sooo good! about the half by I realized that we were not given our pita brot that comes with the salates. I asked a young woman who crashed the floor near us while we ate over the pita and she picked him up, hopefully she washes her hands first. enjoying our eating, chatting a little and looking at the printed menus, had given us some descriptions and planned our next visit when suddenly a flow of activity was around us. the people turn around the floor while we eat. eeewww! we eat and my sister went to use the lady room and they said her no! no? wth? I just spent the night at 50 and my sister was not allowed to pee? a man with a dark hair shaver style has just cleaned it and told her it was closed. my sister is 71 and for medical reasons that no one is business, but her own, although she was with this woman and a blonde with a long braid she needed to use the dormitory! they still said no, it had already been cleaned. my sister was ashamed that she used it and went on to this point anyway, it was extremely necessary. they even dried the rinse after washing their hands. When she came out, she was clearly disturbed and told me what happened and said she never wanted to go back. I was so angry! I confronted these two evil women and they confirmed that they had said no. I lit them, told them we would never return and the blonde said, maybe that would be the best! that even made me angry. I have not put my rest soda in my salad bowl on the table. I also have the printed menu that I was given to make sure that I was serious and very unhappy. the blonde saw me do this thing and said I should grow up. my sister and I both reacted with them, should be more professional and pay customers! if they had delivered us at 3:00 a.m., they should have told us that if we were ordered by 2:36 or they had not taken our order at all. I have previously worked in the food service business and they have either written time the kitchen stops cooking or they take orders up to 3:00 and all up to 4:00 example. we are away at 15 o'clock. we will never return. the personal is terrible. eating is good, but not good enough to take this kind of abuse! we will tell everything who will listen!
If your looking for a good brunch idea this place is the best place to go because they have the best food and the best customer service and they have great attitudes towards the customers even if they have to deal with 20 customers at brunch
Food quality is high with fair pricing and great staff What I don't like is this: Service Gratuity:: They don't have the point of purchase panel which allows the customer to add a tip to your credit card slip. Instead, the register transaction bypasses the tip opportunity and you simply get a bill for what's ordered. Sure it's counter ordering but there's delivery and roaming staff service I would like to support. Personally I carry an iPhone, and a Visa card, never any cash. The staff here are some of the best in the Albuquerque dining scene...kind, polite, welcoming and friendly too. The owner is what I'd call unresponsive to improving her payment tip setup... that's probably a good description. ...I guess the staff could consider finding new opportunities at a new restaurant ... working for an owner committed to improving staff income, by facilitating tipping efficiently by credit card. Because this staff sure deserve it. Finally; I like the coffee station ... I'm bummed they're closed Sunday's and Mondays but that's another Owner choice ... I'm sure the staff like that choice she made at least The staff and the food are worth the visit ....
July 2, 2022. Saturday. Took my mother to lunch at this cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch. This cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm. It's closed on Sundays and Mondays. My mom was a veteran of this cafe, having visited three or more times. I was the newbie. When we arrived at noon, the waiting line stretched out the door. She highly recommended the breakfasts. So, I ordered a chorizo omelet 11 and with a side of fruit and a maple bacon cinnamon roll 3.75 to go. The fruit side contained a bunch of fruit. Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cantalope, honey dew melon, and an orange slice. My chorizo omelet had both red and green chile on top, affectionately termed, Christmas in New Mexico. Unfortunately, these chiles were more Tex Mex than New Mexican. My side tortilla had turned stale and appeared to be from a pre made bag. The chorizo tasted a bit bland and the Tex Mex chile had no heat or bite to it. The fruit seemed fresh and juicy. The bacon maple cinnamon roll tasted delicious when I shared it later with my wife. That combination of flavors is fantastic. I'm betting if you order a non New Mexican breakfast, such as toast, pancakes or waffles, you'll have better luck than me. It was just an average omelet, but that cinnamon roll really wowed us.
First time here. Was a long line to order, but the food was good. Ham croissant for me and bacon and eggs for my companion. We also ordered iced specialty coffees, but disappointed that they didn't use cream in them very watery. Altogether very pleasant. Happy the weather was nice, so we could sit outside; otherwise quite crowded.
