Really fantastic gem in Comporta. Would absolutely come back. Tremendous service on top of it all. The tempura appetizer was the surprise winner, but every dish was amazing.

Excellent looks, slow service, reasonable food, does not justify the price. Maybe a isolated mistake but some of the food had to be sent back as it was extremely salted. If you want quicker service stick to the pizza…
Always trust a chef for recommendations we were recommended Cavalariça by chef Ana Moura (Lamelas). Wow! First of all, it 's a really cool location set in an old horse stable. The menu is designed to allow each dish to be shared between 2 people. We couldn 't choose from all the great dishes, so we decided to go for the experience and let ourself be surprised pleasantly in this case! You can tell how much work the chefs put into each dish, all of them really well balanced in flavours. There wasn 't an official pairing, but our waiter who was really brilliant decided to serve us various glasses of wines he highly recommended. Each wine was a superb choice. One of our favourite dishes was the beet root salad (rare to see blue cheese used let alone in Portugal and it worked so well with the pear and beet root Gastrique). The whole team were attentive and very friendly, always ready to answer any questions about the food and drinks. Highly highly recommend this restaurant!
