Feedback gevenThis is our favorite place for Indian food throughout the DC area. The restaurant atmosphere is cozy and slightly elevated with excellent service. We've never had a problem with our order when eating or ordering. I love the curries being diceed without reserve and not pulled down to a blazing palette. We have eaten here in recent years, and despite a very good attempt in recent years, their quality has never changed. I particularly welcome the milk-free, non-meat options that are difficult to find.
I was happy to find this restaurant wasn?t too far from me and parking isn?t a big hassle. There are several parking areas to choose from. The restaurant is small. I would suggest making reservations to ensure you get seated promptly in the evening. Service was a little slow so when we got our waiters attention we made sure to give our full order at one time. We tried the samosas which were good. Fresh, hot and flavorful. We also had chicken tikka masala and salmon tikka masala. The meats were tender but the sauce was sweet to me. I?m use to a balance of sweet and spicy. It wasn?t terrible but unexpected. The naan was fresh made and melted in my mouth. I preferred the regular naan over the cheese naan. The cheese didn?t add to my experience and was tasteless.
Excellent Indian fare in Kingstowne Center may be found here. Vegetarian options are available, as are alcoholic beverages. Butter chicken was outstanding!
I was in many Indian restaurants that have AYCE in the DMV area. And this is the best place for the price. Food is consistently good. Things I tried: AYCE, Manga mocktail, Mango leti, Samosas, Dhaba Gosht (lamb) . The Samosas were BIG and tasteful. What Aditi emphasize besides the great food are the modern ambience, attentive servers and the CLEAN restaurant. There is always someone checking on the AYCE section to make sure it looks organized and clean. Her salad bar has various things and dressings, not only some boring tomatoes, salad like other places. I wouldn't go anywhere else for the Indian buffet. You can't beat the price and quality here.
Super good!!! We first came to dinner and then had a great experience, so we decided to try their lunch buffet. Eating was amazing! For people who are not familiar with the kitchen (like me, the buffet gives you the opportunity to taste various Indian dishes, so you will know what you order next time. Price is also at reasonable $18 including taxes. The buffer had about 6 dishes, 2 rice varieties, 2 dessert dishes, a few appetizers. I think individual orders are between $10-18. So it is better to taste the buffet! It is available Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 230. Servers were simple, very nice! We want to come back with the whole family soon! If you have not yet tried this place or think about trying, please do!!! I highly recommend it! Worth your time, money and calories!!! One thing I would say I felt like the tables were too close together, but does not take away from our wonderful experience!!!
