Texaco - Alicante/Alacant

We are in the connecting bar/restaurant Hakuna Matata. First of all none of the staff spoke any English and we’re not very helpful trying to translate the menu, we had to use google translate. I asked the waitress who initially half translated the menu to return back in a few minutes while we continued to translate the menu, 15 minutes late we eventually had to call her back when she was walking by as she had ignored us until then. Received our cocktails quickly, an hour later still no burgers. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 cocktails. We were contemplating leaving at this stage without any food but we decided to stay as we were so hungry. A staff member who spoke some English came out and said it would be 5 more minutes for the burgers. The food then came out, chips were stone cold, one burger was okay the other one was very raw, blood running out on the plate and cold in the middle, completely inedible. We promptly paid the bill and left, food uneaten. Would give zero stars if possible, only positive was the pina colada which was quite nice.

Good atmosphere, waiters and dj. especially to enjoy the evenings of Sunday

Good place to have a drink and get distracted for a while. better on the terrace than inside. very friendly staff. prices at the level of other places.
