Fresh, hot pizza. It was good but in my opinion, it could use a little more salt. The service was friendly. I ordered on GrubHub and picked it up myself. I would like to eat here again. I'd like to dine in.
Select Italian and Plum tomatoes, fresh Wisconsin dairy mozzarella, and 900° coal-fired ovens provide the key elements to the tasty pizza here, according to the sign on the wall of the restaurant. I have to agree. But before pizza, let's talk garlic knots and salad. Buttery, soft and chewy and full of garlic, are the garlic knots. Their taste is well worth the calories (if you care about those sorts of things). The Caesar salad is all about the home-made dressing and croutons as well as the freshly grated pecorino Romano cheese. The homemade croutons add the finishing touch. The small size is large enough to share in small portions. Yes, it's good. I really enjoy the pizza here, and I think it is unlike any other pizza place. The chewy dough with a crispy crust, the fresh perfectly seasoned tomato sauce, and the mozzarella make every bite enjoyable. Even the basic pizza is very satisfying. I keep returning because of these ingredients and baking method. Lastly, the service is solid here and bar service is available. The Anthony's chain has a Rewards program.
Coworker ordered from here a couple weeks ago and our order got cancelled. Was a Saturday around noon. No explanation. So this place has been on my mind. Felt risky ordering from here but they came through with door dash delivery. They sent a text confirming my order and a link to watch the driver for delivery status. Delivery was pretty much on time. I tried the ricotta meatball and the sausage broccoli rabe. The meatball was my fave of the two. The white pizza went the fastest and the bbq pizza went the slowest among the employees here. Sauce was traditional. Crust was chewy as expected. Pretty good! Each pizza 22.99-24.99 which is a lot for pizza in my opinion. But it was definitely worth trying. There are a few other places on my list to try. This place was one of them, so I'll check it off now. People say it's the best!
Paulie's pizza 7.6/10 (Really Good! Breanna's garlic knot meatball sliders 7.2/10 (Really Good! off the menu item idea the bartender/waitress created Maria's Meatballs 6.8/10 (Really Good! Garlic knots 4.2/10 (Okay! To keep it short, the coal fired pizza was pretty fire and had very little flop which I really enjoyed. It's made extremely well with quality ingredients and the crust was unbelievable. It was very buttery like if you're a crust lover this is the pizza place for you!!! My only knock is the sauce. I prefer pizza with a sweeter sauce and if it had that I definitely think this would've been in the 8s. I came during happy hour so the garlic knots were a little cold and didn't seem like they were super fresh which really hurt the score. My bartender/waitress (Breanna gave me a great idea to make my own sliders so I decided to give it a try. Thank God she told me to try it because it definitely tastes better together and the meatball sauce was sweeter than the one served with the knots so it made my taste buds super excited! : I loved that sauce 10 times more than the one with the garlic knots so hopefully they make that a menu item soon and give Bre the credit! Overall, Anthony's coal fired pizza is one of the better pizza locations in Orlando and I may have to redo my top 5 list. The pizza and Breanna's meatball garlic knot sliders are the 2 things you gotta try from here!
