The Stone Cellar - Altoona

I absolutely love this place! Food is beyond excellent! Compliments to the chef! My best friend and I treat each other to our birthday dinner here every year since you have opened! Plus I go randomly throughout the year. The Wait staff does an amazing job too! One thing though, I do miss the Lollipop Lamb Chops. Please bring them back :

Fantastically beautiful venue! Their posted menu has almost nothing in common with menu one receives in the restaurant. They have NOT had lamb chops (online menu) for at least 6 months. The tuna steak was quite good but is not available. Nothing on website says they charge to use credit cards--1st I saw was on the bill. They may have a RIGHT to so charge but at least an obligation to say they are going to do so. Apparently no dress code it really shows--for patrons or staff (our wait was apparently competing in tattoo contest). Try to get one to add at least 20% for VERY MEDIOCRE service by untrained wait staff. (Could really not answer simple questions about menu irked one asked). A (partially filled) glass of mediocre house wine is $10--incredible!! I was really impressed by the lovely decor but will not be back. Incidentally, we were VERY satisfied w/ food from original menu upon three prior visits. Unconscionable that website is so misleading for so long.
