The famous margaritas are delicious: we chose the mezcal version instead of tequila. The poor service and disappointing food started right after the margaritas. We ordered the promoted Caesar salad for two and watched a pretentious preparation adjacent to our table by a waiter. Satisfied with his finished dressing, he proceeded to dump and stir every last drop of it onto the lettuce, leaving a gloppy, soupy mess that we found both unappetizing and inedible. When our primary waiter cleared our uneaten salads, we explained the problem, which he seemed to understand. (It was obvious. The salad-for-two was, however, included in the bill. Service was rushed. A number of times we had to tell waiters not to clear off our main dishes that still had food on them. At one point, without explanation, a waiter rushed by grabbing the poinsettia off our table. Later on he replaced it with a candle. We felt in the way of his doing his job. We ordered red snapper, which the waiter said he would filet. He took five minutes ripping and scraping at the fish, which he then put in front of us luke warm and unappetizing. The flavors of our fish dishes were, at best, uninspired. So we did not stay for dessert, and would not recommend this restaurant.
Having had our weddingdinner here eons ago, wereturned for early dinner. The place is little changed, if more popular. Service is stellar, the menu a mix of the french and mexican cuisine, and still prepares your ceasarsalad at the table! The decor is blue and white and you may sit in the hacienda or it’s lovely courtyard. However, There is still a smokers area in the courtyard. Make sure to visit the gardens before you leave!
We came to this place to celebrate Father,s Day. My granddaugher and grandson, only 3 years ols, had a great day there, playing, painting and all that. We had a very nice brunch, because it was at 11 AM. NO COMPLAINTS really. Service was very good, as also was what we ate. The bill, well... Four persons and 2 children over 5000 mxp. The garden was cozy, and no music at all, which let us talk at length. No special conditions for the disable
Had a quiet business dinner here and loved it. I like the unusual, which I found here. We had fried Mescal Worms for an appetizer. Crunchy, but wrapped in a tortilla shell with other things made it an experience. My friend had octopus. I was surprised to see several tentacles instead of the 'rings ' I see in the states. It was good. I had the beef ribs which were also good. Everyone loved their dish! I 'd come again in a heartbeat!
You can have here Mexican food, many options and very common Mexican food. I tried many starters for sharing, and they were very good. But the main dishes also for sharing weren't that good. But all are big plates, so if you go be conservative in ordering. But really try to order for sharing.
