Visited twice it was so good. Chicken in pepper sauce, beef stroganoff and chicken curry all absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced. Our favourite restaurant of the holiday

Wonderful Saturday lunch with the family. Great selection of food on the menu plus the daily specials and everything we had was really tasty Staff really friendly and efficient. Will not hesitate to recommend.

Was recommended Buganvilla buy a contact in Alvor, we visited and whilst there were loads of spare tables, these were reserved, but a table was found for us, converts were already in the table, which we declined and we were given the menus, ‘Fresh’ couverts arrived again, which we declined again. Then the wait started, plenty of waiting staff but nobody wanted to deal with the English family who had declined couverts, despite the menu clearly stating that we were in our rights to decline the couverts, after a further 20 minutes of waiting without any contact whatsoever we decided that Buganvilla was not for us and we left, shame as the restaurant came highly recommended, but we felt that we were invisible and unwelcome.

Attentive service and great portions, with friendly staff. We all enjoyed the food and will definitely go back. Good value for money. Two had steak on heated stones and they were blown away. Thank you!

Been coming here for over 20 years the family that own it know their returning customers but choose to ignore them! Good job the food is good as its that which keeps them coming back. Still has a bit of a cafe feel...outside could be better...no plants...chaits uncomfortable..where's the bougainvillea? Cheer up family you have lots of businesses it can't be that bad!
