La Table Ronde des Chevaliers - Alzonne

We have just spent 5 hours at this fantastic, friendly and welcoming restaurant. Our friends took us there as a treat because they know the owners and have stayed there on several occasions. It was our first visit but we will definitely be going back there again. It is family run and is open all year round - evening and lunchtime. They work so hard, but still make plenty of time to talk and give excellent service. Food delicious, too.

Passing through Azonne we saw La Table Ronde des Chevaliers and called in without booking. Our hosts were most welcoming and placed us in a lovely cool garden then followed up with an excellent supper, well prepared and delicious. A pleasantly rustic setting and meal, at a good price and good value. France at its best.

I found this restaurant very ordinary and for 25 euros menu each, not at all good value. We chose it because we thought it looked like something special, so were very disappointed. Not surprised that we were the ONLY people eating there.

4 adults, we chose one of the set menus, and all delighted with the quality and content of the meal. Lovely environment - we chose to stay indoors as it was so quaint but there are tables outside if preferred. Had we been staying longer we would definitely visited again.
