Excellent Sunday lunch, great beer and food and a charming pub run by a great team! Very welcoming, great hospitality and such excellent value for money

We will definitely be going there again. The Sunday Carvery is cooked like your own and with thick gravy made from juices of the meat. Roast Potatoes are excellent. We could go on but just try it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Home from Home. Delish!

Fantastic home-cooked Sunday lunch in a lovely, friendly country pub. The meats were beautifully cooked and you get loads on your plate. The veg is freshly cooked and plenty of it too. 2 carveries, a beer and a gin for £26, fab value these days. Highly recommended

Myself my large extended family went for Sunday lunch whilst we were on a family holiday in the local area. We booked because the reviews were so good. Well, we were not disappointed. The proprietors, Lynn Phil, were so accommodating and helpful, especially as we were a large group of 9 adults, 4 children a baby. The pub was very clean, parking was easy there were 3 swings in their pub garden that the children enjoyed using. The Sunday carvery meal was fab and tasty. We enjoyed our meal time there so much, that we returned later in that same week. We are returning to the local area next Summer will be booking in with Lynn and Phil- if they’ll have us!

Had 2 lovely carverys here, Lynn was extremely welcoming and helpful even supplying my 7yo with salad cream for her roast and then remembering it the 2nd time. The meat was lovely and you got such a lot of it. Would definitely recommend, and if we go back next year this is definitely our Sunday lunch booking.
