Mackey's - Douglassville

Horrible experience! The only bright spot about this trip was the Shepard's pie was pretty tasty. We have never been here before so we started asking about a drink menu. None. No cocktail list. The young man didn't even know what was on tap or what beer they serve. Instead of going to see and come back with suggestions he just stared at my husband who had to stand up to look at the draft handles! Then my husband asked for a Reuben and also fries. I guess the waitress got confused because he only got fries. No Reuben. When he said something to her she did apologize but immediately offered the check. That seemed to me like she wanted us to leave because she made a mistake. Then when she brought the check, she says sign here as she quickly walks away. How about, I removed the charge for the fries, or your beer is free? They both seemed only interested in the people at the bar. Never will go here again.

This is a great place to eat and hang out. There are several draft beer selections and wine choices seemed limited. We had wings, cheesesteaks and fish which were all quite good. Definitely worth going if you are in the area.

I didn't eat or drink here, because I went to do karaoke. I had a great time and I love the atmosphere of the place. I especially love the hosts of the karaoke Kathy Kane and Brisbin Skiles.

Went for dinner with family. Took 25 minutes to get menus. Took another 20 to get sodas and place order. Took almost an hour to get food. People that came in after us got served first. Then, when the food arrived it took 15 minutes to get silverware. Had to go to bar to get ketchup we asked twice for. Almost 2.5 hours for horrible service and sub-standard bar food. Paid and left, bur not before hearing bar patrons complaining about warm beer. There were only two other tables eating so it should have not been such poor service. Used to be a great place 10 years ago. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
