Feedback gevenTravelling through the country side near where my dad was born I happened to stumble past an Agriturismo restaurant, all the rage now in Italy,it means that 60% of the food used by that restaurant must have been grown there by that restaurant so the owner waiter barman Cosimo explained to us. To start I ordered the traditional Antipasto plate, it had all home made salami's and cheeses lettuce etc all eaten with their own bread, it was more than ample, in fact we left a fair bit, thinking that it would fill us up, overall great taste. I then received my pasta dish, Cavatelli with wild boar, once again the serve looked gigantic however after tasting it I was glad it was as I ate it all and wished I had more, it was that good. I then got a plate a mixed grill of different types of meat including Pork,Veal, lamb and chicken, you could tell that they had been home grown the taste was just so different in a fantastic way to what I was used to. I can't tell you anything about the desserts, We where to full to order any even though Cosimo recommended the thousand layer cake with strawberry,s from the Forrest . I now regret I didn't have it. Overall the food was exceptional ,however it tasted even better after we got the bill which came to around 50 Euro which included the 2 euro litre of wine and free coffe and grappa . What a deal we would definitely return if we came in this region again. Ps. The place is run by members of the family and so gives out a fantastic atmosphere, we had a great time with Cosimo and his family .
Senza dubbio il miglior agriturismo del Taburno. Pulizia impeccabile, personale estremamente gentile e soprattutto piatti tipici curati nei minimi dettagli. Carne ottima. Tartufo buono. Antipasto spettacolare. Consigliatissimo.
