Hunan Chinese Amory

The chicken was good but everything else was not. also they didn’t have very many options and had no dessert either. the environment is also not fun to be in and they used styrofoam cups and plates but charged $14 a person. Before Hunan got new owners it was my favorite place to eat at but it has went downhill. also the crab rangoon was only cream cheese and no crab?

A very friendly staff; I wish them great success! Running a successful restaurant can’t be easy. $12 a plate at the Sunday lunch buffet, is a high price to pay for styrofoam dinnerware. Almost every dish on the buffet was sweet, even the cucumber salad was unexpectedly sweet. Whether it’s sweetened with real cane sugar, honey, or high fructose corn syrup, I didn’t care for it. I lost my appetite quickly. They need to spend a day securing the bench seating. Sit in the chairs, to be safe! Take my word! The best thing I can say about my dining experience is, the Hot and Sour soup was fresh and delicious. I really wanted to support the local restaurants in Monroe county, MS. Next time I will follow the advise on a review I saw about the Hunan Chinese restaurant. It recommended driving the extra distance to Tupelo, and eating at China Capitol. The Panda Buffet, in Amory which I tried last month, I’m sorry to say, was not much better.
