Far East Chinese - Angels

My favorite place for years but they changed their recipes and the food is not as good anymore. Also they no longer have the dinner combos. The people and atmosphere is great just the quality of the food has gone down IMO!

My understanding is that this restaurant is under new ownership in made few months. Tonight was my second visit, first being over a year ago. It was SPECTACULAR tonight, levels up from my visit a year ago. Clean inside, great service without being pushy (and my menu questions were answered happily as well as politely. I was unable to make a substitution on a special but it was handled very nicely and I only ended up ordering MORE! and the food was ALL PHENOMINAL! We had potstickers as an appetizer and an $18.95 full meal each, which included Sweet n Sour Pork, Chicken n Cashews w/Veggies, Pork Fried Rice, Soup, Egg Rolls and Wontons. We WILL be back?

Really enjoyed the food there. Service was excellent. Try the Honey Walnut Shrimp, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped on a Saturday afternoon and squeaked in, just in time for their lunch special one plate loaded with your favorite item and a couple of sides (including their superb Egg Drop Soup . I ordered Mongolian Beef, and my daughter a beautiful shrimp dish. A store near the lake recommended the restaurant when we asked for Chinese. We were happy to find it easily, in a smart little strip neighborhood very near the heart of Angels Camp. We will absolutely go back again. Quick and pleasant service. Clean! Delicious! Reasonable price options.
