UPDATE 3 years later! Old food, out of necessary ingredients often, and here I am, the Sunday prior to thanksgiving with 2 checkers. The place is packed. Not to mention when i walked up to the deli, the man working looked at me walking up and then quickly walked into the back. I ended up buying Oscar Meyer deli meat... Cmon! The people who live in this area shouldn't have to drive into Roseville to shop.
Clean, organized, well lit isles! Bel Air always stands above its competitors. I do shop at other big box stores but when it comes to fresh produce! You will only get it here! The service is impeccable, well another rest.
You should be ashamed at the state of your restrooms! I've been in cleaner restrooms off an interstate at a grimy gas station. And I need to be let in by an attendant??? Why? What are you preventing from happening that isn't already happening under lock and key? **** everywhere, wet, dirty floors, and graffiti. The sink is so dirty, there's no point in washing your hands, you'll leave dirtier than not washing hands. I was absolutely appalled by the state of the locked up washroom. Apparently keeping it under lock and key is doing nothing to keep it sanitary, clean or slightly presentable. Portapotty's are more desirable and clean than what you have in that store. Again, you should be absolutely ashamed!
I shop at Raley 's/Bel Air for great quality meats and great customer service. I stopped in Saturday 5/20/23 around 7:45pm to grab a couple of Ribeyes and bacon from the butcher as they are so delicious. As I was standing at the counter, I hear some kid in a black beanie working at the deli say hey, you need to ring the bell if you want to get service from the butcher as he started shaking his head at me like I was a moron for not seeing the tiny sign 20 feet away (I have never seen this sign or had to ring a bell for service before). The kid caught me off guard as I 've never had this from any of their employees before. The beanie kid keeps looking at me and shaking his head before telling his coworker something. The coworker now repeats about pushing the button. Kid keeps shaking his head at me and I was so close to losing it as I specifically come to this store for better service. If I wanted to be treated like this, I would just shop at Walmart which is 2 blocks from my house. Luckily the butcher was friendly and made up for the rude deli kid. I left without calling him out as I kinda wish I did. I sure hope beanie kid figures it out and has better customer service. Maybe Walmart would be a better fit for him.
