Cocina Mexicana - Apex

It is a quiet place with homemade food and good prices.

The food didn't taste good or fresh. And the dessert (churros with ice cream) was clearly old. The churros were pressed and the corn flakes around the vanilla ice cream were soggy, had to spit it out. We had a bad experience unfortunately.

It is a small place, not very luxurious but that is precisely what is attractive because it looks like a Mexican fondita, the stews, dishes, tacos and others are authentic Mexican dishes.

Delicious chicken tacos. Meat was swimming in a hot sauce gravy, nice and spicy. Tacos come plain and there’s a toppings bar for customization. Paired with a Mineragua for a nice light lunch. Close to work so will be visiting again soon.
