Alibi - Arcata

I looked at my intuition and my intuition said step into this place for some fish and chips, and young I was right! bierbattered dorsch, Plank frets and an amazing dinner salat. my body was more than satisfied, good classic juke box with all the right melodies. visit this historic gem for great eating, great service and wonderful arcata, California atmosphere.

What do you want me to say? that is a classic bar. the bar/dining area is small but not overcrowded and there is a large outdoor/smoking area back. I probably come here for the wings once a week. according to my opinion they are the best wings they can get in arcata (it was earlier humbrews, but they are doing something else with their wings now). his usually a bar so in the rule there is only one waiter for the tables, but they get their drinks fast, so nothing to fear.

WARNING: THE RESTAURANT IS NEXT DOOR That being said the restaurant is extremely cozy with the chairs and tables. The server was very nice and friendly even to the rude guests. We had the po' boy sandwich and the chickafee sandwich. Both sandwiches were so good it should almost be criminal. With the sandwiches we ordered a couple of drink, a mixed margarita that you can order to be strawberry, mango or both! Lastly, we had an appetizer of bacon fries and they were so good! They come in a huge batch so you could enjoy then with a few beers or drinks! Overall, the service was awesome the food even more so!

Good stiff drinks and a variety of food options for everyone's needs. Great place to grab a casual bite at the Plaza whenever you are in Arcata.

Nice place with a wide variety of **** marys, although they do use a mix and they are not hand made there is a cute patio and have a restaurant. Downtown across the street from the plaza.
