Bonchon Arlington

Their chicken and fries are the best in the town. I love the garlic soy chicken half regular and half spicy.

Very disappointed in the service for pick up order and the quality of the chicken. Went to go pick up an online order and the staff was rude and slow. One of the workers told me to go to the right to pick up the order, but no one was there, no cashier, no pick up person. Got 8 pieces of chicken strips half soy garlic and half Korean bbq. The chicken was very very dry as if it had been fried already and they just packed it into the take out box. Usually Bonchon chicken takes much longer for their order to be fried. Something seems off that the order was ready in 15 minutes. It was pretty dark inside. As a Korean fried chicken chain, this was a major let down. Paid $17.11 for 8 piece strips for reference. There are street parking spots outside.

Greasy pubbish food served on greasy tables. Limited menu. Extremely noisy. Is this a sports bar or a Korean BBQ place? The restaurant does not seem to know. Wait staff mediocre attentive. Metered parking on street or free parking out back between the apartment buildings of which this restaurant is on first floor. Pre-covid was more popular now especially by groups ... Uber.. from DC. Maybe people got sick of it. I guess if kimchee fix is needed and nothing else available this is the place.

Maybe not my cup of tea. The fried rice was not what I expected. But it wasn't just me, everyone at my table didn't like it. The fried chicken was very good and the spicy sauce really hot! My favorite part of the meal. The deep fat fried potstickers just okay. I guess it was just too much fried food.

Stopped in here after an evening performance at Twilight Tattoo. We were seated and visited promptly and placed an order for the garlic fried chicken, bulgogi fries and I think a side of Mac and cheese. The fries were hot and bulgogi was seasoned well and complimented the textures on the plate. The garlic fried chicken was slightly over cooked but still tasty with a nice balance of crunchy batter and tender meat. The Mac and cheese was a creamy blend of spice and cheese. Bonchon is a good go to for an easy and quick meal.
