She was professional, I was able to order online and communicate via email which helped with my busy schedule. It was delivered on time and with perfection. I won’t go anywhere else for my next cake!
I have been getting cakes made from this wonderful place for years now. Every time I pick up a cake I am blown away by the design, and the taste is second to none. Everybody at the party always comments how tasty the cakes are.
Cute and delicious! They are open every 2nd Saturday each month. Right now 1 customer/ family allowed inside. Very small space but BIG flavors! Will be back!!
Edit as of 2nd visit: Their carrot cake needs to come with a warning label: 'Too delicious to stop eating even if you feel like you will explode. ' As for the cupcakes we tried this go-around, Chocolate Peanut Butter was overwhelmingly peanut butter flavored to the extent we tasted nothing else, so not a fan here but true peanut butter lovers should adore the amazingly creamy peanut butter flavored icing. The Lemon Blueberry was sinfully delicious in my opinion and I could eat them every day! Bananas Foster and Blackberry Coconut were delicious but not as strong in the flavor department as I hoped. The Vanilla Caramel Coffee was a bit disappointing since it was soggy from coffee being poured onto the cupcake for the coffee flavor. tasted gorgeous, but the sogginess ruined it for me. Macarons: Never been that fond of these treats, but the Butterbeer flavor was so fascinating, I would eat them anyway! The Strawberry Cheesecake ones were odd... did not taste like strawberry OR cheesecake, but WERE still delicious though the flavor was unidentifiable to the entire family. No idea what it was, but was still tasty. First chance we had to try a walk-in day. I doubted Cake Bliss could possibly live up to all the extreme hype online about the place. Also, I am definitely a chintzy spender. $3.50 for a cupcake seemed ridiculous to me, but all thee sons were excited, so I coughed up the dough. Between me, my sons ' and a family friend, we got about a dozen items to give a good sized review on the place. BROWNIE First. One son shared a corner of his Cherry Garcia. I mean, I like brownies, sure... but OMG where have you been all my life? Flavorful and perfect. IMO. Now I want a pan full of them. CAKES second. Doberge cake split four ways was delicious and still more than sufficient size. I cannot imagine a while piece to myself, would likely go into diabetic coma. Perfect ratio of cake to icing, no idea how they did it, but a definite WIN! The Neapolitan cake was odd looking but the flavors were spot on and scrumptious. The Bride 's Cake... I am ready to marry off ALL three sons AND the friend of the family (also a 20-something male) just so we can order the cakes here! CUPCAKES. I saved the best for last. Ice cream sundae was my least favorite. Not because it was not amazing, but because the flavor mixture was overwhelming to me, I think. ALL the flavors in an actual sundae in my 1/4 of the cupcake overloaded my taste buds. Rainbow sherbet next least favorite for the same reason, was EXACTLY flavored like rainbow sherbet which I absolutely love, but was simply too much for me in a cupcake. Rocky road was next. Fantastic flavors mixture, not too much of any one flavor, perfectly balanced, but not one to cut into fourths. No structural integrity with the amazingly soft cake, the creamy center and such. Next time I will have to get us all individual ones, because I sure as heck am not sharing mine! Strawberry crunch was very good, just like the strawberry cakes my late mom was famous for making, very tasty. So much so, my strawberry addicted son was quite pleased and plans to get one every time they are offered! Red velvet was perfect divided four ways because it was so freaking rich, eating a whole one might have killed me. Not likely to make me stop next time, because the cake and icing were both flawless! BUT... my hands down favorite was the cinnamon swirl. If you LOVE cinnamon you will want to buy a half dozen or more. Evil in the extreme the way the cinnamon and cake and icing seemed to perfectly balance into the absolute perfect balance. Best cupcake I have ever eaten. Ridiculously addictive, IMO. I can unequivocally state, every time I go to Cake Bliss from this day forward, if they have cinnamon swirl, I WILL be buying at least one and I would be willing to pay far more than a paltry $3.50 for it, now that I 've tasted it! Screw being a penny pincher for these! The perfections created by this shop are absolutely worth the cost, chintzy shopper or not!
The most AWESOME cakes you can ever get!! Not only does Dionne make them look amazing, they also taste amazing! She has made almost every one of my son's birthday cakes. I can tell her what he wants his theme to be and she creates a cake that looks like art work. If you're looking for a cake that looks great and tastes great, look no further! P.S. She has even made a great tasting gluten-free cake for us when my son was having some allergies when he was younger. :
