Bay Leaf Restaurant - Āsansol

The soups are really awesome. one wont get such soup in whole asansol. the Chinese items available here are also delicious.

Frequently go to Bay Leaf with family. I get heart touching service. I must mention the name of Mr. Thakur. He serves like a family member. He takes care of our food habit also. Overall experience is very good.

Located on GT Road near Chelidanga, this restaurant offers delicious food that you must try. The Garlic Naan is a standout with its unique and pleasant taste. The Darshan is also fantastic, and the service is top-notch.

Once ordered through foodpanda. They sent items which are different and lower priced than the ones ordered by me. Not impressed

Pros: The restaurant is located in a great area and is easy to find. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are also good. We tried the Mutton Biryani, as we had just returned to Bengal after 11 years. The food was good, but not excellent. We did not try any other dishes on the menu. Cons: The owner/manager was shouting in front of customers, which was not a pleasant experience. The taste of the biryani was not as good as what you would get in Calcutta. The quantity of food served was also a little less compared to the price charged. In comparison, restaurants like Arsalan/Aminia offer more food for a lower price (₹180 for a serving of biryani). Additionally, I ordered delivery from the restaurant twice and was charged extra for disposable plates and spoons, which I found unusual. Overall, the restaurant is good and the menu is decent. However, the lack of proper customer care and the restaurant's policy of not accepting cards are areas that could be improved.
