Indian Mehfil Rasoi - Ascot

I have not yet visited this restaurant, but it is now located at 249 Stafford Road, Stafford, making it easy to overlook as new signage has not been installed. Our impromptu visit turned out to be a delightful dining experience in this part of the city. The decor in the restaurant is modern and the food was delicious, with a diverse vegetarian menu available. The service was quick and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Stafford.

The food at this restaurant is mediocre and the menu is too expensive. The dining experience is quick with a decent variety of options. It's a good spot for takeout as well. However, the quality does not justify the high prices.

The flavors were decent and the portions were very generous. However, later that evening and the next day, I experienced a upset stomach and a very sore neck. This is the same reaction I have when MSG is added to Asian foods. Whatever they use here is not suitable for my sensitive digestive system, unlike other Indian restaurants I have visited. The service was good during my visit, but the ambiance of the place was lacking.

I ordered a delivery meal and all I can say is im lucky I over ordered. $16.50 for a butter chicken and only had 6 cubes of chicken. Menu also states free delivery for nearby and surrounding suburbs at a hidden cost of $3. Meal...tasted nice however I'm more disappointed than satisfied.
