Little Pigs Bbq - Asheville

This place is amazing. My dad ate here the day I was born. I ate here the day my son was born. I also ate here the day I took my mom to hospice. This place has always been amazing.

My wife and I absolutely love Little Pigs BBQ and it never fails to hit the spot. We got an 8 pc takeout with 2 sides and hushpuppies. Hushpuppies are sweet and salty balls of bready goodness, some of the best we've had. The baked beans were sweet the a bit of spice and acid, and were cooked through but not falling apart. I don't like coleslaw but the wife absolutely loves their coleslaw, and she is picky about her slaw. The chicken... flavorful, crispy, and juicy with well seasoned light breading on it. I know fried chicken, and this place knocks it out of the park every single time. No wonder it has been open for decades and is known for their fried chicken. Run, don't walk, to this place.. you won't be disappointed.

Wife loves Broaster chicken. Meat does not have smoke flavor. Very popular place notwithstanding.

The food was great and the service was super quick. Staff was really friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a quick bite and good barbecue and broaster chicken.
