Cafe Madeleine - Ashford

I do not recommend this restaurant. The cooked breakfast I ordered was disappointing. The chipolatas were dried up and overcooked, the beans were lukewarm, the fried eggs were both over and undercooked (burnt bottoms and runny yolks), the bacon had a strange taste, and there were diced onions mixed in like you would find at a greasy burger stand. The dish also included a strange cheese-flavored bubble and squeak mush. The portion of coffee was very small and they did not have any fresh orange or apple juice available. I left half of my plate uneaten, and I am not usually a picky eater. I looked up their food hygiene rating online, which was a 3 out of 5 stars, indicating a 'generally satisfactory' rating. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant and suggest looking for other dining options nearby.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today for a quick lunch. The venue was nicely decorated and the staff were pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was overpriced at £7.50 for a sausage stick and some poor quality salad. However, the milkshakes were delicious. Overall, I was not impressed enough to consider visiting again in the future.

Had lunch here in April '23 , got charged twice . Initially they responded to my complaint, but I 've not heard anything since their first response months ago despite numerous follow ups .. disappointing to say the least

I visited this restaurant after meeting a friend in town and was extremely disappointed. The staff were rude and more focused on chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. The food was barely edible, with a lukewarm breakfast and unappetizing eggs. Tables were not cleared promptly either. I would not recommend this place and suggest going to McDonald's instead. There are much better dining options in town.

Beautiful food, good quality and delicious. The staff are lovely always. I've eaten here almost every week in the past couple of months and many times before that. The food is consistently superb. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The seating is comfortable, the toilets are always clean. You pay for what you get. The quality of food and service is above par. I really look forward to going to Café Madeleine.
