Mays Drive-in - Ashland

Great little place! Easy food at a great price. I come here every year on vacation and go to May for 40 years. Breakfast is my favorite by far. Good breakfast, a cup of coffee and good service for about $5.00! Hit the McDonalds!

Nice place to eat. Love, as the place seems in the 70s with the lighting and table design inside. It makes it cute and even the menus seem old what I love. Quiet place, cute to get food and is not expensive at all. You also have an outside order and go to order ice cream stand! It's perfect for such a small town.

Reliable high-speed service. $27 for 3 combo meals that fed 3 adults and 1 small child, and had a good piece of frits left to take home. Food was GOOD we ordered two chicken cheese steaks with frits and a drink combos and a burger combination with frits and drinking. Sit yourself, place an order at the counter (Menu is on a board above the cashier) and they call your number when it is finished. Tables and bathrooms were very clean. Parking plentiful and for lunch on a Sunday there were many seats in the back dining area. You also have a large window in the front, so you can order ice cream and milkshakes during the summer months without going inside where the diners and food orders are taken. The ice creams looked very good, next time will try some desert items. Only give 4 stars instead of 5 because if it comes your first time, it's hard to find out how things work. There are no characters or paper menus to see before you go. So hopefully this review will help other first timers to know what to do! Despite missing helpful (seating/ordering/picking area etc.) characters/directions and a bit difficult to navigate menu board, the checkout was super friendly and patient while we had navigated the menu and had questions about what/how to order. I also love that they have Sodabrunnen drinks and they serve them, I am Styrofoam to take home cups! One of the only places that do this. Keep your drink super cold and for travelers is an advantage to bring your drink on the road after lunch!

Mays has the best peanut butter milkshakes around here! We go at least once a week to get food and ice cream. Very friendly staff and the restaurant is always clean. You can dine in or get your food and ice cream to go. We usually call ahead of time and pick our order up. Their service is great and always super fast!
