Feedback gevenI was here over a year ago and sitting in the restaurant sitting a mouse over the floor, eating was not great, but service ok. determined to go another as good reviews and when I saw new menu and was cleaner. it was bad... with waiter very abrupt and unfriendly. I had les moules frittes, the moules where ok, but fritttes were very old or reheated, not nice at all. couple next to me had sauce spilt on one of the dumbbells by waiting, ok, infall, but until I didn't let any replacement. another person had a wrong burger, took him away, and 25 minutes later, when I did not leave a lift. I had finished 30 minutes earlier, wait and gave up, paid and left. never comes again.
The restaurant is located right next to the entrance of gare Asnières-sur-Seine. it was sufficient seating inside and outside - perfect for a sunny day outside. we really wanted to taste escargot and on our first day in paris we landed here and had a...wonderful escargot court with basilikum, garlic and olive oil! chilled bier and escargot on a afternoon where the temperature touches 34 degrees - what more can you ask? reasonable price, nice service- great for people watching!
I have eaten here often as a local and it's pretty good. We usually eat here because we all know with whom we are together find something on the menu they like, what is a plus. the set menu price is reasonable and the drinks are not...too expensive. the biggest plus this place is the personal that is great.
Loved the café atmosphere, good food. Waiter willing to speak English. Cost was reasonable and close to our rental property.
I like the informality and that you can sit quietly inside or out and watch the world go by, read a book etc. The wifi works! Limited menu but something for everyone and they will mix and match. the beans are fab but not if...you don't like garlic. I feel it is a modern day version of Café Rene but without the chaos..
