El Arroyo Modern Mexican Kitchen

Met the owners at a local event. I had never eaten in her restaurant, but had heard some good things about her, so I decided to give them an attempt. It did not begin very well, and the service was really not good and taken forever to get our food. The server was new and fought, was three times full and seemed a little confused. The owner stopped to check us and I explained what the situation was right now. Minutes later, our food arrived. A bit later everything was forgotten. This food is AMAZING!!! The reason why it took so long is because they were busy and create each dish when you order it. There's no steam table here. Made from scratch on the Fajitas a las Rocas was from another planet. The whole meal was with the perfect aromas and excellent use of spices. I welcome the cook. FANTASTIC!

As someone who has traveled this great state from any neighboring border that grew up in West Texas and worked at several cornerstone Texas Famous Authentic restaurants as well.... I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I've ever eaten! The first kudos point was the fact that it even sopes on the menu (It is a rarity to find, not to mention a good) plus served with huitlacoche(corn smut)-amazing! The street tacos are locally famous, fully represented their reputation when ordering this review back to a journey across the border to Nuevo Progresso with every bite! I can't wait to enjoy many other traditional batch menu items. If I could give more than 5, I would.

I came to lunch for the first time today. The food and service is fantastic and I will recommend this place to everyone. They also have delivery and will soon offer a room for meetings. I live in Eustace and this is just the best Mexican food in the county!

Fantastic food, completely unique in this area. Big hot sauce and horchata!!! And the staff is very attentive. The owner Marlen takes care of the customers so much and always ensures that the customers are happy. I can't get enough of this place. Thank you. We'll be back.

We needed some food to feed our family after my son’s graduation. I ordered the combination fajitas to serve 25 guests. The food was hot and ready to go at our pick up time. Our guests loved the food-especially fajitas and salsa. They gave us plenty of food to serve. I highly recommend for catering or for dining at their restaurant!!
