The Tacky Sweater Christmas At Two Urban Licks

I had made a separate reservation for this bar, but when it was canceled, there was no communication about it, and the special menu was not offered. This should have been mentioned when we checked in, rather than waiting until our table was ready. I understand that they can't control the weather, but they can manage expectations. Despite the cancellation, the service was good and the food was wonderful, although we did have to wait 40 minutes for an appetizer.

We thought we were going to a Christmas bar, but they had none of the Christmas menus available. They seemed confused when I tried to order one of the Christmas drinks

Had a reservation for the Christmas bar and when we were there, they sat on the terrace. We came to find out from our waiter when we tried to order Christmas drinks that they canceled it? That was pretty bad communication and pretty deceived about it. It's so strange to me that the hostess didn't say anything, even though she expressly said we were sitting for Santa Claus...

The pop-up bar didn't take place, and we received no prior notice about it. The servers inside seemed unaware of what was happening.

The holiday-themed ugly sweater party was canceled. There were no special cocktails or food items available. The decorations here are quite sparse compared to other bars.
