Denny's - Auburn

I visited on May 31, 2019, at 8:14 AM at Restaurant 8132. My server, Lisa Roth, provided an excellent breakfast experience. Everything was cooked to perfection: the eggs were fluffy, and the bacon was crispy without being burnt. Lisa, who was both the host and waitress, was polite, friendly, quick, and professional. My order was taken promptly, and my breakfast arrived shortly after. She made me feel very welcome. Overall, it was all cooked just right and I felt ready to start my day.

The food exceeded my expectations. The pancakes were delicious and light and fluffy, unlike the rubbery ones you sometimes find at diners. The eggs were cooked just the way I ordered them. The coffee, however, was a bit disappointing, but I typically don't expect much from diners in that regard. My only real issue was that the bathroom had an overwhelming air freshener scent. Overall, this was a much better experience than I’ve had in the past, and I'm pleased to see improvements.

I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants and try to avoid them whenever possible. However, when friends suggested this place for our group outing, I was pleasantly surprised! The new management is evident, as they prioritize excellent service from the moment we arrived until all ten of us finished our meal. The food was well-prepared, and the staff was attentive, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything. The restaurant was clean, and the prices were very reasonable, especially with an AARP card. Overall, it was a great experience!
