Our Local - Auckland

I had a wonderful experience with the staff during my evening visit; they were very friendly and provided excellent service. It was a private event, and I highly recommend this venue for anyone in South Auckland looking for a great place to host such gatherings. Thank you!

This restaurant is always a fantastic place to unwind after a long day. The management and staff are excellent, and the food is delicious as well!

There have been many changes at the tavern. Wow, I was overwhelmed with memories from the good old days. I recall a really tall guy who used to sleep in the back of the pub—what a gentle soul he was. Then there was the Whanau, who always sang the local songs at the hotel while playing guitar, making their way from Ohakune to Raetihi Pub, spreading good cheer. Families like the Lim, Chee, Sue's, Tuhura, Tehuia, Greens, Tamatea, and so many more come to mind. If I could see a familiar face from back then and share stories of the past, it would definitely be a heartfelt reunion for us.

For the 50th of a buddy. The lining sliders, hot dogs, shrimps, samosas, an anti-Pesto plate was unexpectedly delicious for a light industrial area. Not greasy, good ingredients, hot and crispy. We had the back area to ourselves, including an open outer surface, which, despite the middle of the century, was warm by some impressively powerful reheaters toasty. And the galle that looked after us was warm, friendly and super helpful. The birthday boy told me that the bar had been through a little revamp lately and it worked safely. Onya!

Will definitely be back to drink and catch up with family when we back in NZ!!! such a great bar and the bar manager Lu is always great to deal with!thank you for looking after us when we showed up without a booking! Love Our Local and definitely affordable drinks.
