The clams weren't clams, they were the strips that go around the scallop shells, and the scallops weren't even real scallops, and to top it all, the fish could not be found inside the batter. Would not recommend this to any one, any where, ever. And to think we paid 50 dollars!
It's a big stop. What more can you say. It was good food bits nothing gourmet. A great stopping place to fuel ip your car and your belly on a long trip.
2 Turkey diners which weren’t very good, esp for the price. Wish I had remembered to take a photo. Rolls they added to the meal were completely dry, so threw those out, veggies am guessing are frozen, mixed carrots and green beans. The staff were super friendly and it’s always busy there which is a good thing. Id just get something different next time.Vegetarian options: Limited!Dietary restrictions: Limited!
Food portions in the haddock is so small for 17.00 a plate you’re only paying for fries. We spend a lot of time traveling and eat a a lot of big stops with great portions aulds cove is by far the worst we ate
We were very careful during The main outbreak of Covid as to where we went, when we did decide to finally go out after 2 years we went to the Big Stop in Aulds Cove, we watched as they cleaned the tables and seats and than put signs on the tables that it had been done and they waited the proper amount of time they were given before others could be seated, no matter the line up, it was a scary thing for everyone, but finally we felt at least comfortable to get out of the house and still do knowing that they take the proper time to clean the tables, the food and service has always been great, and if it isn't people do say something and they take care of it, we have heard it, something might be cold or they forgot the gravy etc. I myself am happy to get what we pay for, and understand how much risk the staff have taken during all of this Covid and other sicknesses that go around in taking care of their customers...Thank You Big Stop Employees
