Me Con Bistro - Austin

I didn't give 5? but this restaurant was really an inspiration that I would like to share. I have missed or lost except for here in austin for 3mo (rest, lkw, guy 's dives, etc) on the look for authenticity in his kitchens (w indie, Cuban, asian etc.)? the Lebanese food truck at ak auto lot both have fresh, crisp ingredients. not a fan of americanized tofu, but me con 's is softened in lemongrass etc. a wonderful surprise. so grateful for both

We have enjoyed eating here for years, but our last meal was markedly disappointing and not near the quality we expect too much increased trips. the saigon egg rolls under seasoned and overcooked. the kim Chi-Fries were terrible soggy-Fries, burned pork, stingy cold kim chi, barely cheese. I want someone to pay me to eat them again. come on, me con comes back well! food quality is a must. their customers go somewhere else. Nobody wants me to be locked up. make me great again.

This place has some of the best pho I?ve in austin. the broth has a really well developed taste. they also offer other great options, such as their shaken bark and Thai red curry. I'm coming back, I can't beat this at her price, it's great.

On Thursday evening we have 4 things to do. I had to go home and the first dish I opened had a living cricket in him who went over the food. Obviously this was a branch and my friend and I did not eat any of the food because after we saw a big cricket on a teller, we thought they were not allowed to have a clean kitchen and wanted to eat nothing from this resterat. they called back today to get a refund and they said that they usually only refund the court that is grounded. obviously we all have food immediately after seeing the cricket so we do not even get a full refund for food that we do not even eat and spent like $60 on was frustrating and badly reflecting on their customer service. the man on the phone said he would talk to people who worked in this night to find out what happened and that they would call us tomorrow night so that the real manager can sort it out. in any case never come back here, extremely disappointed about the lack of cleanliness and customer service. if they only appreciate the cleanliness not disturbing to go here, it is not only clear dirty, but they will give them a refund for living bugs in their eating.

This place was a good idea! I got my vietnamese fixin and my mom got her general tsos. Their vietnamese coffee is perf, and they have thai tea too. Really a catch all I got the yellow curry vermicelli with shrimp and it's really good. ?
