Phoenician Resto Cafe - Austin

Lebanese is always good, but was disappointed in the shanklish the baba ganouj was excellent and the tabouli. Not really a date kind of place more if you just want Lebanese to go, but hey we love Lebanese and in Austin this is the place to go.

Although parking was hard and the ambiance was so-so, the food was excellent. Would definitely carry out. Hummus, grape leaves, chicken schwarma, and lamb kebab were great. The tahini fish was AMAZING. Would go back for that any day... service was friendly but not pushy.

Friendly family run restaurant with authentic Lebanese food. The dishes were very flavorful, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended.

Due to super heavy downtown Austin traffic, GPS gone haywire sending us in circles and perhaps location of restaurant, we did not make it and after we had fled from the downtown crazy traffic we called the restaurant to say we regretted we could not make it.

Good halal choice, albeit location a little bit difficult to find. Off Rainey St via a small alley way! Lamb kofta recommended.
