On Saturday the place was quite busy but service and food were outstanding our server, a lovely waitress who was struggling with some leftover balloons deserves a special mention . On Sunday evening it was quieter but food and service still good. Their signature burger is great!
Nice place and accommodating team. My beef stew was not freshly cooked felt days old cooked food. My partner's food was OK. Kid's menu meal was OK, although sausages quality was at the low end. Food definitely needs some attention
Beautiful meal in the five bells, served in a very contemporary wise. whitebait was beautiful, then the Cod-Loon was excellent, best I had in this restaurant.
AWFUL!!! A table of 12 next to us left and refused all food as we arrived. Once we sat down and ordered drinks, these never arrived and we had to go up to the bar to remind them. We then ordered the food and our starters arrived late as the chief kept burning them the waitress said to us as she placed our food down. The waitress then returned 15mins later to say the chief wasnt happy with the Wagyu burger and if we wanted to order something else off the menu. We then was informed by the waitress that they infact ran out of stock of the Wagyu burger. We was shocked at how bad the service was and can see why people around us where leaving before there food had arrived. NEVER AGAIN!
We were told that the Five Bells do NOT accept bookings from Open Table BUT they could squeeze us in to the virtually empty Resturant providing we ordered at the bar !!
