Their sisig is a must try for sure During one of my many visits to Trinoma, we passed by Manam Express and I got a hankering for their sisig. This is actually the fast food version of the original. They offer some of their bestsellers in a canteen, turo-turo setting. Their sisig is good for one. It comes in a sizzling plate and served with pickled veggies on the side. It comes with free iced tea and soup. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close to the dish served in the restaurant. It made me really sad! Plus, it left me craving for the real thing!
Was craving for manam's sisog and was happy to hear that there's a manam express here in trinoma.. I asked if its the same sisig, and they proudly said yes.. Of course, being an express i knew there.would be a big difference but, did not expect it was this big... We werent even able to eat the sisig because it was too hard to chew... And the taste wasnt even close...
Got excited to see there's Manam in Trinoma. Just ate at BGC a few weeks ago and was missing their food. It is affordable. For 145.00 you can choose 1. Rice 2. Main dish 3. Veggie and it also comes with a serving of soup and iced tea Anyway to cut the chase, their tapa version is sweet (beef belly) but it doesn't taste bad. It's too sweet. Good thing the mangga bagoong helps contrast the sweetness. Rice is cold. Soup is good and hot. Iced tea is watered down Their sisig is good (in BGC) you can order that for 145.00 Other options instead of the beef belly is bagnet, binagoongan, bangus.. i can't remember the two You get a filling meal for the price. Still better than...read more
Ate here a week ago. It was almost closing time so rice choices were limited garlic rice and tinola rice were the ones left. I got the garlic rice Grilled chicken gising gising. I like the gising gising this is the reason why I decided to eat here. The chicken was prepared upon ordering so there's a waiting time of around 7-10 minutes so better not order that if you're in a hurry. Rice serving is big I wasn't able to finish mine. And price wasn't that bad since I got the meal with soup and iced tea for 149 pesos.
We have always loved Manam's food in Fairview Terraces so when we learned they have the Manam Express in Trinoma, we decided to eat there eagerly after church. Sadly, food there came up short as per our expectations. The food were not that warm when we finally got our orders Hubby got the sisig-gising-gising-garlic fried rice meal, I had the tilapia-enseladang talong-garlic rice, and the kids shared with the bagnet-kare-kare-white rice For 149 pesos you can say that their food is already affordable. Maybe they just need to shorten the waiting time and make the food more warm when they serve them. Too bad also they didn't have their chocnut lecheflan anymore.
